Frances graduated from El Monte High School, class of 1945, her life shaped by the Depression and the War. Her high school gym became a factory for building C-47s and Frances learned to build aircraft.
Frances married "the man she waited her life for", Dean Wood in April 1959 and they soon moved to Buena Park to raise their family. The retirement years brought them to Lake Elsinore where they lived the remainder of their days, celebrating the life they built together.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute in her name to either Breast Cancer Research or the City of Hope.
