

Francisco D Zaragoza, 66 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Bradley Gardens in San Jacinto, California. He was born on Friday, January 15, 1954 in Denver City, Texas, to the late Francisco and Alice Zaragoza. He lived a very exciting life moving to the San Jacinto Valley over 65 years ago. He saw the pure beauty of the SJ Valley before it grew with development of housing projects and other businesses. He went to High School at San Jacinto HS and worked as a ranch hand at the Page Ranch before they turned into a housing development. Frank worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry for many years. He loved to watch sports and supporting his Pittsburgh Steelers and LA Dodgers. Frank was a baseball coach at Valley Wide for years coaching his boys, nephews and grandchildren. He did enjoy visiting his family in Texas but loved coming back home. He was known to his family to always having a piece of candy in his pocket to share with his grandkids.... even if it was a cough drop. Frank made it clear at times when he needed to take a break, he would say “ He needed a breath of fresh air " He enjoyed his mom's cooking and being around his family. They describe Frank and having a wonderful smile, outgoing but ornery at times, friendly and loving to his family. He will be missed by those that knew him and loved him. Surviving are sons, David Zaragoza ( April ) and Frank Zaragoza, daughters, Kristina Zaragoza and Rebecca Coe ( Chris ) and siblings, Mary Gerber ( Eric ), Avina Mendoza ( Juan ), Erlinda Gonzalez, Lily Hernandez ( Chino ), Rosie Salazar ( Daniel ),.Abel Zaragoza, Robert Zaragoza ( Sandy ), Lee Zaragoza ( Liz ) Felix Zaragoza and Ramiro Zaragoza, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary located at 1501 W Florida Ave Hemet, California 92544.
