Frank Timothy Mendiola

Frank Timothy Mendiola passed away at the age of 80, on Monday, September 20, 2021, in San Jacinto, California. He was born on Thursday, December 19, 1940, in Norwalk, California, to Frank Timoteo Mendiola and Bernice (Hernandez) Mendiola. He was one of 6 children.

After obtaining his high school diploma, Frank enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country for 13 years as a Sergeant in Vietnam. While balancing his career as a truck driver, Frank was also an amazing husband and dedicated father. Frank was together for 42 years and married for 28 wonderful years to the love of his life, his best friend, Rachel Mendiola. They were blessed with 12 beautiful children that would later make Frank a grandfather and great-grandfather as well. In his spare time, he enjoyed family barbeques, gardening, singing, and dancing. Frank was hardworking, strong, and memorable man who served as a pillar of strength for others. His love for his family was immeasurable.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Rachel; his children, Linda, Joe, Louis, Robert, Lil Rachel, Regina, Johnny, Jennie, Jenny, Jennifer, Jojo, and Jesse ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Dolores Mendoza.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 8:30AM-12:30PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, California. A graveside service will follow at 2:00PM at Riverside National Cemetery.
