Franklin Wells Buck, age 88, of Sun City, California, was at home when he entered eternity on Sunday, December 11, 2011. He entered life on Monday, February 19, 1923 in Los Angeles, California; the son of the late Robert Buck and the late Geneva Buck.
Franklin worked for the California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, for more than 35 years supervising the construction of many highways and bridges. He loved to hunt and fish! In September of this year, he marked at least 40 years of participation in the annual dove hunt. He enjoyed hunting all types of upland game and deer. His interests when closer to home included golf and woodworking.
Franklin is survived by his daughter, Sandra Jean Buck; two sons, Thomas and his wife Sandra Buck, Charles and his wife Janice Buck; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
