Jerry was born in Torrance, CA on April 12, 1938 to A.D. and Dot, where he grew up with his only brother Mel.
He attended Torrance High School and El Camino College where he met friends that he remained close to his entire life.
In 1958 he married his sweetheart Jerre and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by the renewal of their vows. Together Big Jerry and Little Jerre had four children: Brett, Brian, Jay, and Vicki. In turn, Jerry was blessed with many grandchildren, all of whom made him light up every time he saw them!
Jerry was incredibly loyal to his family. And although he loved hunting, fishing, camping, and wood working, he loved his family most of all! He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends.
