Gerd Richard Glockzin, age 64, of Quail Valley, California, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, in Quail Valley, California. He was born on Saturday, January 08, 1949 in Breman, Germany to the late Matrosen Glockzin and the late Gisela (Prutt) Glockzin. He was the loving husband of Lourdes C. Uribe de Glockzin for over 30 years. Gerd served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars. Gerd lived his life to the fullest, enjoying everything moment of it with his wonderful wife, Lourdes. He will forever be loved, but greatly missed.
