Gertrude Helene Robbins

Passed away on June 13th 2019 at the age of 90 after a six year battle with bone cancer. She is finally at peace free from pain and has joined once again with her family members that welcomed her with loving arms reached out to guide her home for the last time.

She was born in the county of Schuylkill Pennsylvania, to John and Edna Siciensky. On November 17th 1928. She was the oldest of 5, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her youngest sibling her sister Carol, nephews and nieces all residing in the state of Pennsylvania.

She also is survived by her youngest daughter Diane (pre-deceased by daughter Debrah and son Steven). Her grandchildren (pre-deceased by baby Steven Jr. Robbins and Misty H. Lawrence/Barnes) James and Michael Robbins, Heather R. Lincourt and Randall J. Lawrence. Her great grandchildren Cambria, Trevor and Kaleb Barnes and Isaiah and Wyatt Lincourt .

Gertrude was united in marriage to Gerald W. Robbins on the 14th of May 1950. They remained married for 41 years until the passing of her beloved husband on the 24th of September 1991 at the age of 64.

She remained single and continued her life being a very loving and devoted grandmother. She enjoyed going on overnight trips to Primm with the senior bus rides. She also enjoyed Wednesday bingo at the senior center just to visit with friends.

Mrs Gertrude Helene Robbins was a military wife for 20 years, a devoted wife for 41 years, a mother (a job that never ends) you couldn’t find a better grandmother than her and spent the majoraty of her life raising and nurturing her siblings,her children, her grand- children and of course her husband. It took a little while, but she did finally find some time to enjoy her life while she had the chance. We all know she deserved more than what we could ever offer back to her. We Love You!
