Trudi Wicke passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2016. She died of complications from Parkinson's disease. Trudi was a devoted wife and mother, a caring nurse, and a faithful servant at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Sun City, CA. Trudi is survived by her husband Ben; sons Bob, Dave and Brad, and daughter Juli. She has four granddaughters and three grandsons. Trudi was one of nine children, include sisters Ceil and Kay who reside in Ohio. Trudi enjoyed time with her grandchildren, growing her faith, and time at church. She attended daily mass at St. Vincent's, and served as a lector and delivered communion as a Eucharistic minister to those who were home-bound. Trudi's passion outside of her family and nursing was time with friends. She and Ben spent many Friday nights with friends, in both Upland and Canyon Lake. She loved to dance, especially to hits from the 50's which brought her fond memories of times in high school. A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City on Monday, October 3 at 11 am. In lieu of sending flowers, please send donations to St. Vincent's Church.
