Glenna Myrtle Hoyt (85), of Hemet, California, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. She was born Tuesday, August 13, 1929, in Seattle, Washington, and was the daughter of the late Glenn and Myrtle (Babin) Charles. Glenna loved to travel and her destinations included Argentina, Alaska, Hawaii, Korea, Japan, Saipan, and cities all over the United States. She was very involved with the family and the grandchildren. While living in Escondido Glenna worked with the Palomar Memorial Hospital Volunteers and continued volunteering at the local Hemet Valley Medical Center, after her move there in 1998. Her family describes her as very family oriented, generous, and giving. Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Hoyt, who passed away in 2009. She leaves 3 children, Brad Hoyt (wife Sue), Randi (husband George Sanders), and Traci (husband Bob Gresser), 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
