Gloria Dorothy Dean-Braggs

She was born on June 21, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Leo Soniat and the late Helen Price Soniat. Gloria married her High School sweetheart, Jerry Dean in 1953. Jerry was her beloved husband until his passing in 1989. Gloria worked for the California State Government and retired after 20 dedicated years. She spent her time after retirement playing the slots, playing bingo and traveling.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Jerry Dean, wife, Teresa Dean and Larry Dean, wife, Elsa Dean; grandchildren, Delilah, Sonjia, Larry Jr., Kisha, Travis, Mark and Myishia; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of other family members and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by his loving husband, Jerry Dean; sons, Richard Dean and Kenneth Dean and brother, Leo Soniat of Kenner, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd. Moreno Valley, California. Funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM. Committal service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Riverside National Service. Reception to follow at Miller-Jones Mortuary from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
