

Gloria Moreno Valenzuela went to be with the Lord peacefully at the age of 91, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Temecula, California. She was born on Saturday, April 19, 1930, in Coachella, California, to Gonzalo Moreno and Nicholas Mendoza (Juarez) Moreno; she was one of 6 children.
Gloria was a beautiful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her entire life to her children. She was the matriarch of the family and loved each and every one unconditionally. Gloria was the mother of 14 children. Despite her large family. Gloria always made time for all of her children & grandchildren. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Grandma Gloria. She loved a quiet evening with her family watching the Dodger game while keeping score and sipping on warm tea.
She and her husband Jimmy worked tirelessly to provide the best opportunities for their kids. She would proudly boast about how much she loved her family. She was a faithful Catholic woman that prayed and lit candles for her children and family each and every night.
Gloria is survived by her loving children: Martha, Rosemary, Joe, Bobby, Jimmy, Eddie, Gloria, Dorothy, Minga, Roger, Ruby. Gloria was blessed with over a hundred grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is an angel to all of us and will be in our hearts forever.
Services will be held at Miller-Jones Chapel in Hemet August 16, 2021 from 4-8pm. Rosary at 6pm.
Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church August 17, 2021 at 10am. A graveside ceremony will immediately follow at the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery at 11:30am.
