Hector was born Friday, March 1, 1968 in Brawley, California. He was the son of the late Jorge Tapia and Elvira Verdugo Tapia.
Hector was a very kind man with a big heart. He was a dog lover and enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his free time. Hector was also a mechanic in his spare time and loved working on trucks.
Hector loved his family and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Surviving are mother, Elvira Verdugo Tapia, daughter, Shelbie Storts, brother, George Tapia, sisters, Candy (Perico) Romero, Magdalena Sanchez and Luisa (Alex) Ojeda, 1 grandson, Markus Sanchez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Miller-Jones Mortuary - San Jacinto located at 165 West 7th Street San Jacinto, California 92583.
