Helen Ortiz Viles

Helen was born in East Los Angeles, California on February 24, 1937 to Salvador and Refugio Ortiz of Mexico. She married Luis Pena in Nov, 14th, 1955 and had two beautiful girls Sylvia and Denies, and two handsome boys Benny and Dennis. Later she married Robert Viles on May, 21st, 1989 and moved to Moreno Valley and later to Hemet.

Helen loved to gardening in her front and back yard. She also loved to travel, Laughlin and San Francisco were her favorites. Most of all Helen loved her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Helen had a very open filter, she would always be straight with you, she was spicy, sassy, and those qualities would always make you laugh. Most of all Helen was always there for her family in here loving and compassionate ways. She is survived by her husband Robert Viles of Hemet, daughter Denise Pena of Long Beach, sons Benny of Hemet and Dennis Pena of Moreno Valley, sisters Nieves of Monterey Park and Gloria Ortiz of Modesto, brother Joe Ortiz of Sacramento, 16 Grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation Services will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary 1835 N. Perris Blvd. Perris, California on April 5, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Chapel Services will follow at 12:00pm, and again following will be a Graveside Service at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:00pm where she can be laid to rest.
