Herbert Julius Miller, age 99, of Hemet, CA, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Meadowbrook in Hemet, CA. Herbert was born April 27, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Hubert Miller and Paula (Hoffmeister) Miller. Herbert joined the Marines in January 5, 1944 and served during WWII. He was honorably discharged on November 18, 1945. Hubert was a machinist with Northrup/Air Research for 12 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Jo-Ann Miller.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA. He will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
