Howard Wells was born Tuesday, July 17, 1923, in Rolette, North Dakota. He was the son of the late Earl and Edna Larson Wells. Howard proudly served his country from January 8, 1941 through January 28, 1946 as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class with the United States Navy. He was employed by Napa Auto Parts as an Auto Parts Salesman for 26 years. He spent the last 40 years in Hemet, California. Throughout his life he was married twice to two wonderful women. His first wife of 23 years, Adajean Parker who he married in 1947 passed away in 1970. In 1984 he married his second wife of 27 years, Mary Calvert who then passed in 2011.
On Monday, December 26, 2011, in Hemet, California, Howard went to be with the Lord at the age of 88. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Floyd Wells; daughter, Linda Stiff; grandchildren, Paula Edwards, Tammy Rucker, Roberta Martinolich and Nicole Hutson; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Ryleigh Hunter, Alexis and Jared Reed, Hannah, Jackson and Jonah Rucker and Parker Hutson. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.
