Irene Cordova

Irene Cordova, age 71, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, CA. Irene was born on March 7, 1948 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of the late Jess Quintanilla and the late Lillian (Ortiz) Quintanilla. Irene had the opportunity to live in Germany for two years with her husband, Alfred, who was stationed there.

Irene was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She was a kind, compassionate and loving person who always put her family first. She also helped her husband, Alfred, run a business for many years.

Irene was a well-respected and loved member of this community. She volunteered her time and service to many events including events with the Knights of Columbus and events at the Ramona Bowl, including the Summer Concerts. Irene was an active parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Among other things, she was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Lorraine Ortiz.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Alfred Cordova Jr., her children Emily Irene DaSilva husband Elman, Raymond Jess Cordova wife Angel, Richard John Cordova and Susie, siblings David Amaya, Cruz Santiago and Debbie Ortiz, eight grandchildren, Ryan Graham, Randy Graham, Alex Graham, Troy Cordova, Joel Cordova, Jordyn Cordova, Cruz Cordova and Jaden Cordova.
