Born Sunday, November 17, 1929 in Los Angeles, California , he was the son of the late Samuel Vergar and the late Reva Nemon Vergar.
Jack proudly served in the United States Army for 9 years as a pfc and assisted as a medic and a cook. He enjoyed family gatherings, going out on scenic drives, collecting antiques, and gardening.
Surviving are son, Andrew Vergar of Hemet, CA, sisters, Ruth Willens and Sylvia Wexler.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Wilma Jean Vergar and son, Robert Allen Vergar.
