Jackie Lynne Saville passed away peacefully at home and joined her beloved mother in the presence of Jesus on March 29, 2020. Jackie was born to Jack and Ela Shupert of Idabel, Oklahoma, on January 21, 1936.
On July 14, 1955, Jackie and Terry Saville married and spent 64 years together. Their first 20 years were spent as a naval family, moving across the country and the globe where Jackie honed her homemaking skills.
During that time Jackie and Terry were blessed with three children: Terri Lynne (James) March, Steven (Lisa) Saville, and Ginger (Jeff) Rightmire. In due time came eight grandchildren: Justin, Jordan, and Jared March, Cassi Saville (Jones), Scott Saville, Andrew, Aiden, and Ela Rightmire. The blessings continued with five great grandchildren: Jaxon and Jevin March, Jameson March, Charlotte and Lylah March, Amelia and Elizabeth Jones.
In 1976 the family moved to Hemet, California, and became active with First Baptist Church (Cornerstone). Jackie loved her many years singing and performing with the choir. She had such a servant heart that she was quick to step in whenever needed.
Jackie’s interests included sewing, cooking, gardening, listening to gospel music, volunteering for the local assistance league, and spending time with her close, devoted circle of friends. She was especially dedicated to her family and her pets.
God willing, the family will celebrate Jackie’s life with family and friends this summer.
Mom, you are loved and greatly missed. We know that we will be reunited for eternity with our Heavenly Father as He says in Revelation 21:4, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
