Jacqueline Gates, of Murrieta, California entered eternity on Sunday, May 6, 2012; she was 89 years of age. She entered life on Monday, May 29, 1922 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of the late Harold Diefenbach and the late Lucille Van Doren Diefenbach.
Jacqueline was proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years, Wallace R. Gates.
Surviving are daughter, Victoria Davis; son John Gates; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 11th in the Christ the Vine Lutheran Church, 29581 N. General Kearney Road, Temecula, California. Inurnment will be with Wallace in the Riverside National Cemetery.
