

As a man, husband, father, and grandfather, Jim shared a zest for life, loved playing Harmonica, at which he was terrific, and loved his family. He could Jitterbug with the best of them, enjoyed entertaining audiences with his band sharing their music with audiences from Los Angeles to San Diego, and was adored by his family.
The son of Italian immigrants, he had a brother, Victor, and a sister, Mary, both of whom passed before him.
He was the nephew of Jerry Colonna, a musician and comedian best known for his roles in Bob Hope-Bing Crosby movies, and touring to entertain the troops during the Vietnam conflict.
A World War II veteran, who served in England, Jim loved his country and was proud to have served her. All three of his sons also served in the military.
He is survived by his current wife of 30 years, June. sons, Jim, and Jeff, his 6 grandchildren: Jennifer, Sarah, Suzanne, Jeffrey, Heath and Kellie, and his 5 great grandchildren: Nicholas, Victoria, Charlie, Kyler and Dylan. He had a third son, John who is deceased.
