Known as Gary, he enjoyed fishing, and playing his guitar. He also was a very talented singer. He managed the restraunt Pepe's in Canyon Lake for over 27 years. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Gist; his son, Dean Gist; and his step-son, Curtis Swann
