James Gutierrez, Jr., age 78, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Moreno Valley, California. He was born on June 30, 1940 in Compton, California to the late James Gutierrez, Jr. and the late Alice Gutierrez.
James served his country honorably in the Air Force and retired after 44 years of dedicated service with the U.S. Military. He will deeply missed by all and forever loved by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife of 55 years, Sharon Gutierrez; children, Kathy Gutierrez, Kris Shelley and Karen Gutierrez; 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa and Brittney and his faithful dog, Sugar.
Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday, July 23, 2018 at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California. Funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM. Committal service to be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:15 PM, Monday, July 23, 2018.
