

Mr. James C. Hinson Jr. was born in Greenville, AL on August 21, 1934, the son of James C. Hinson Sr. and Nellie Willis-Hinson. When he was 2 years old the family moved to Chicago, IL; where James grew up and Graduated from Parker High School in Chicago in 1954. A few years later, he started working with his farter as an Electrician at his uncles Electrical Contracting Business.
During this time James met and married his first wife, Dorothy Harris-Hinson and with that union four children were born; Byron, Adrienne, Darius (DJ) and Deborah. In 1964 James moved back to California where he started working for The Marine Core Air Station, ElToro, he later also worked and Retired from The University of California Irvine. After Retirement James moved to the High Dessert Adelanto in order to help his brother Bernard, build four Duplexes.
While living in Adelanto, James met Patricia (Patty) Walta and they were married in 1989 and with that union three children were born; Eyvonne, Jonell and James III.
James enjoyed going to Las Vegas every year to celebrate his birthday, He enjoyed spending time with his children; James enjoyed outdoor sports like fishing and hunting with his father, brothers and uncles in Greenville, Al. and Kansas.
Mr. James C. Hinson Jr. leaves to cherish his memories two brothers; Bernard Hinson, Carl Christopher Hinson (YaVonne) of Scottsdale, AZ, his children; Byron Hinson, Adrienne Hinson-Watson of Glendale, AZ, Darius (DJ) Hinson (Sharon) of Glendale, AZ, Deborah Hinson-Coleman (Carl) of Flint, MI, Eyvonne Hinson-Walls (Tim), JoNell Hinson (Taj Outlaw), and James Hinson III. He has 12 Grand Kids, including Natasha Walls who is due to arrive in April 2017, 15 Great Grand Kids, and 2 Great Great Grand Kids, One Aunt Elizabeth Hinson-Bland, of San Diego, Ca., step children Catrina Willis of Peoria, Arizona, Yolanda Willis of California, Leona (LeLe) McConahey, George Walta, of California and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents; James C. Hinson Sr. and Nellie Willis-Hinson, his step mother Willa Mae Hinson, 5-Uncles, 5 Aunts, one niece Carolyn J. Hinson-Gibbs whom he affectionately called JoJo.
The family would like to express a Special thanks to the Staff of The Manor Care Nursing Home in Hemet, Ca. and all the devoted caregivers there.
