

Jim was born on July 13, 1947 in Peru Indiana to Leroy and Fern June Pratt.
He attended High School in Wabash IN. where he graduated High with 4 years of wrestling and 2 years of reserve in the Air Force. He then completed 4 years of service in the Air Force during the Vietnam War with an honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant.
He was a professional salesman for many years which included a 25 year employment in Hub Construction Specialties where he retired in February 2008.
He loved Nascar, fishing, hunting, wood work, computers and love to make everyone smile. His favorite foods were pork, salads, KFC, lemon meringue pie without the meringue and of course his 1 lb. Hershey's Almond bars.
Those who knew him will always remember him in his Levi 501's, eagle belt buckle and his Tony Lama cowboy boots.
James is survived by his wife Vi Marie Wilt who he married on April 21, 2006 and currently resides in Moreno Valley, California. He is also survived by his children; Deanna and Norm Taylor, Billy and Janelle Pratt, Joseph Pratt, Stacey Bernard, Machelle and Alfredo Fernandez, Dawana and Javier Perdigon, his sister; Pamela Clark and her children, his mother in law Roxie Wilt, his loving grand children; Alyssa Fernandez, Matthew Fernandez, Jordain Pratt, Jessa Pollard, Kristofer Perdigon, Nicholas Smith, Derek Perdigon, Hanna Pratt, Chloe Taylor, Eva Perdigon, Dylan Pratt, Tyler Pratt and Brittyn Bernard,his two best friends; Mike Keen and Al Hannah, as well as a host of family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Morneno Valley Mortuary. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 4, 2011, at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA. 92518, (951)653-8417. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Avila.Reception information will be distributed at services.
