James Joseph Quigley, Jr., 88 of Murrieta, California passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 in Perris, California.
James Joseph Quigley, Jr. was born on April 23, 1929, in Tarrytown, NY, he was the son of the late James Quigley and Olympia (Pilla) Quigley. James was a man of integrity and valor, he served his country with honor by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. James earned medals for his China Service and Good Conduct.
James enjoyed boating on the Hudson River, playing golf where ever he could, and watching old films. But more than anything, he loved his family. Many cherished memories were created, those memories and the love shared will be held close to the hearts of his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife, Libby (Astrologo) Quigley; children, Kenneth Quigley, Cynthia Quigley, James Quigley III, and Marc Quigley; brother, David Quigley; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America or Destiny Hospice.
