James Charles Sullivan
November 29, 1939 -
July 16, 2022
Jim was born to Eleanor and Arthur Sullivan in Toledo, Ohio. He grew up with eight wonderful siblings and would often fondly recall his time spent swimming and water skiing at Clark Lake during summers. After two years in the Army Reserves and one year in the seminary, he moved to California where he met his wife Jane. As his family grew, he worked for Pepsi Cola Co. and later became an insurance agent for New York Life. His favorite family memories center around family vacations to Yosemite. He adored all of his grandchildren and made his home available for family gatherings. Jim and Jane were active parishioners at St. Anthony Catholic Church where he continued to develop a profound devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. On May fifth of this year, Jim and Jane proudly enjoyed their Diamond 60th wedding anniversary in each other’s company. He is survived by his wife Jane, two sisters, five adult children, eight grandchildren as well as extended family and friends for whom he gave a tremendous example of love and dedication. We are grateful to God for the gift of Jim in our lives.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. ~Amen~
