James Lee Travers

James Lee Travers, known as "Jim" to many, went to be with the Lord, at the age of 92, on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Hemet, California. He was born to Ernest Richard Travers and Annabele Marie Smith on Wednesday, March 15, 1933, in Covina, California.

Jim proudly served in the US Navy for three years. He married the love of his life and his best friend, Marie Elizabeth Travers, and have been blessed with 40 wonderful years of marriage. They united two beautiful families in to one loving family. He was also a member for years in the Serra International Club of Hemet Valley (support vocations to the priesthood).

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Marie Travers; his children, Jeffrey Scott (Beth) Travers and Janene Antoinette West; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony) Martinez, Jeffrey James (Adriana) Travers, Matthew West, Joshua West, and Carly (Lindon) West; his great-grandchildren, Sierra (Toby) Stipp, Dakota (Jaylee) Martinez, plus 9 great-grandchildren; his step-children, Fr. Kevin Sweeney, Maureen (Monte) Andrews, Cathleen Sweeney, Sheila Howard, and Shawna Sweeney; his step-grandchildren, Shane (Alyssa) Andrews, Nicholas Sweeney, Ashleigh (Eric) Sweet, Eric Peterson and Bethany (Daniel) Hill.
