

Jamie Irvin Jemison ll passed away December 9th 2012 in Hemet California after a BRAVE battle with Parkinson's disease. Jamie was born in Orange, California in 1927, one of five children. His mother Jean was a direct descendant of the Dana family (Dana Point) and his grandfather was the first chief of police in the city of Orange. Jamie was a talented musician and played trumpet in his father's big band orchestra in the early 1950's. He graduated from Santa Ana College with a Bachelor's degree and trained as an apprentice jockey riding thoroughbreds at all the race tracks in Southern California. From there he went in to the US Air Force where he attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He flew F86 jets in Japan and England. On retiring from the AIR Force he went into the Hospitality business, Jamie worked at the Playboy club tending bar for a few years and went on to own several restaurants, he was a man of many talents. Jamie retired as a US postal worker where he was known for his love of animals and in his work he rescued abused cats, dogs, horses and goats. (Many of which he and his wife Teena lovingly adopted) Jamie Jemison will always be remembered for his love for family and animals. The family wishes to thank The Ramona Manor Care Facility, where they lovingly cared for him in the last years of his life. Jamie Irvin Jemison II was preceded in death by his loving wife Teena and is survived by two siblings Ramon Dana and Martin Jemison; Jamie had five children Susan, Jamie, Keri, Darren and Linda, and five grandchildren Ashley, Scott, Robert, Jessica and Schyler.
