Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Sun City, California; she was born on July 9, 1927 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to the late John and Janet (Scott) Elliott.
Janet was a book binder for a book manufacturing company for 15 years, but perhaps what she was most known for was being a wonderful, loving and loyal wife to her husband of 68 years, Alfred and a mother to her children and a grandmother to her grand kids. She also enjoyed baking.
She is survived by her husband "Joe" of Sun City; her children and their families, Barbara Chambers, Susan Kunyckyj and Robert Chambers; her siblings, Bill Elliott, Dave Elliot, Ann Mork, Doreen Bradshaw, Doris Davis and John Elliot; Ten Grandchildren, eighteen great grand kids and three great- great grand kids.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Janet on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 1pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, Ca 92586.
