Jeaneen Markee "Nee Nee" Stubbs was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 26, 1964. She blessed this world as the daughter of Barbara and John Stubbs. Nee Nee found Christ at an early age and was baptized shortly after. She enjoyed her family and friends, she was always the life of the party, and she believed in always making people laugh. Anyone that knew Nee Nee knew that her doors were always opened if you ever needed a place to stay.
Nee Nee moved to Los Angeles, California in 1967 with her mother, father, sisters, and brothers. She later moved to Inglewood where she attended Center Park Elementary, Monroe Jr. High School, and later graduated from Inglewood Adult School. She attended Suzannes Beauty College where she developed her passion for doing hair. She also worked at Daniel Freeman Hospital as well as a caregiver for several years. In 1999, Nee Nee moved to Riverside to be closer to her family and moved around the Inland Empire ever since.
On September 8, 2023, God called Nee Nee home to be with her loved ones. Preceding her in death is her son, Mario Laflora; her parents, Barbara and John Stubbs; brother John Stubbs III; aunts, Sandra Brown and Francheski Hannon; and grandmother, Johnnie Armstrong.
