Jeffrey was a painter all his working life. He was a member of St Martha’s Catholic Parish in Murrieta, were he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was very active in his church, volunteering were needed as an usher, youth ministry and the Knights. He loved to golf, cooking, playing poker and being with his friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Josephine; his daughter Jennifer Gehl; his brother Monsignor Jim Gehl, and his sister’s Janet Chan and Joanne Alba.
His inurnment will be private at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery in Mission Hills, California.
