On January 9, 1987 a man was born that would touch the lives of many. For those lives that were lucky enough to be known by him, Jerm held a very special place in their hearts. Jeremy was known far and near. Time closed no doors in the friendships he had. He kept smiles smiling, thoughts provoked, and he never had a fear. If it sounded fun, he was doing it without a moments hesitation. He was a great big open-handed, open-hearted generous soul. A friend brightened up from a mile away if he saw him coming, and he felt light-hearted for a whole day.
After coming into the end of his teens, he graduated high school and noticed Bush was in need of most help. He served two honorable years in the Army, the 101st Airborne Division, with many other boys and did us all proud. He returned with broken health. We were unsure what his attention would be turned to, but he could not hide that his wit still cut like a knife, his heart still yearned to give, his soul still made others gravitate toward him.
Often times he would be found exploring, observing, fishing (most of the time he set them free), shooting at the range, drinking beer in the garage. He reminded me of a young philosopher, without the degree.
It's been said that still waters run deep- well his ship set sail December 13, 2012 into the great unknown, and a most honest farewell is bid. His mother Tracy, father David, and little sister Amie miss Jeremy woe-fully. We all miss him. There are sore hearts for Jeremy.
