

He was born Wednesday, September 1, 1954 in Reynoso, Mexico, and lived in the San Jacinto Valley for about 60 years and worked as a carpenter in the construction industry for 40 years.
Jesse was known as a protector and warrior in the community; he would protect or help anyone in need. He was also known as the community handyman. He assisted anyone with their projects, which he did because of the passion and the love he had for his trade. He never told anyone no, it was not part of his vocabulary. He was a very humble man and just wanted to help people and give back to his community.
He had a zest for life and was very funny, and people referred to him as a great jokester. He loved spending time with his family, and he was an animal lover. He adored his dogs, Dieder, Penny and Alex.
Jesse enjoyed listening to rock and roll and loved making barbeque ribs.
Surviving are daughter, Elizabeth Angelina Bautista Johnson, mother, Angelina Bautista, sisters, Elida Mercado, Estella Dingwall, Hilda Carmona, Adelina Velasquez, Elizabeth Bautista, brother, Valentino Bautista, goddaughters Lupita Castillo, Stephanie Jimenez,13 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews and 3 great, great, nieces and nephews and dogs Dieder, Penny and Alex.
A visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto Avenue, Hemet, California. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church located at 780 S. State Street Hemet, California 92543.
