Jesse Prater

Jesse was born on Wednesday, July 10, 1946 in Hemet, California to the late Vergil and Fern Prater. He was married to the love of his life Mary Prater for 44 years. Together they had three children.

In life Jesse loved living in Winchester, especially because he had many friends. He loved visiting with family and spending quality time with his loved ones. He enjoyed traveling, competitive pool and playing cards.

Jesse loved his career in Sheet Metal Work, which he performed for many decades. He was part of many important projects including The Palm Springs - McCallunTheatre's Heating and Air Conditoning system, which made him very proud. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.

Surviving are son, Jason Prater, daughters, Lori Hanes, step-daughter, Kelly White, brother, James Prater, sisters, Virginia Powers, Georgia Reed, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary located at 1501 W Florida Ave Hemet, California 92544.
