Joan S Bell, 86 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio, July 5, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Letta Lee (Morrow) Shoemaker. She was married to the love of her life, Ernest D. Bell, Sr. for 55 years before his passing in 2005. Joan was very active at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved helping others and volunteered often. Joan enjoyed singing especially when she was able to harmonize with her choir friends. Her family describes her as very friendly, loving and family oriented. Preceding in death was her husband Ernest D. Bell, Sr., her sons Charles J. Bell and Ernest D. Bell, Jr. Surviving are her son Richard F. Bell, daughter Joni B. Schneider and her husband Rene Schneider, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Bell, and her grandchildren, Rachel Bell, Eric Schneider and Leah Schneider. Services will be private
