Joan Barclay Michener, age 78 of Sun City, California died on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Menifee Valley Medical Center in Sun City, California . She was born Thursday, November 17, 1932, in West Haven, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Emily Corrie Barclay.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice A. Michener.
Surviving are son, Steve Michener, and daughter, Kathryn Kirk
Services will be held privately. Interment will be in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, California.
