

Joan Velma Pertl was born on Sunday March 10, 1940 in Los Angeles Ca. She was the daughter of the late John and Velma Pertl. Joan met the love of her life at Huntington Park High school in 1955. They began dating and it was not long before they realized that they could not live without one another.
On December 20,1958 Michael and Joan exchanged vows of marriage, and shortly after, decided to start a family. In April of 1959 they proudly announced to the family they where pregnant with baby Lisa, who was born on December 27,1959. In September of 1966 they welcomed the arrival of Michael David Perrin JR. Their family of four was now complete.
Joan had pursued her education in cosmetology and became a licensed beautician. She had many clients and was our family’s personal stylist and hairdresser.
The Perrin family had many traditions they shared, going to the mountains, deserts, go cart racing, boating, back yard family BBQ’s, swimming with family and friends.
Joan enjoyed going to Glamis riding the dunes during Thanksgiving, New Years and many other holidays. She was always cooking so many delicious meals in her motorhome for the entire family and anyone else who wanted to join in, her door was always open.
Joan gave so much love to everyone around her, including her grandchildren. Tiffany, Paul, Robert (Lani), Cynthia (Arnold), Emily, & Grace. She was a Great grandmother also known as (Nana) to Bryce, Seth, Gavin, Cole, Dean and newest addition Samantha.
She enjoyed Bowling, Bunco, Estate sales, where she found many treasures in her travels.
Joan loved Christmas so much, Michael and Joan started decorating for Christmas in the fall so they would have everything completed by Thanksgiving. Lights came on and stayed lit until mid-January. Joan loved Angels and Butterflies. She was a beautiful decorator, her Christmas tree was decorated not only for Christmas but for every holiday throughout the year.
Joan had many friends she loved as family and they loved her in return. She touched everyone’s heart that she met. Joan was loved and adored by all.
Joan will be sorely missed by her children, family and friends.
Joan is Survived by her daughter Lisa Perrin-Misner (Lloyd) son Michael Perrin JR (Cheryl) Sisters Candice (Fred), Birdie (Bob), Mary, Iris, & Gayle, 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
