Joan was a journalist for a newspaper for 30 years. Joan also volunteered for many organizations and sat on many boards. She will always be known for her infectious smile and willingness to help others.
She is survived by her children and their families, Laura Borger, William Borger, and Edward Borger; his siblings, Debbie Searle-Alsing, Linda Block, and Vince Lovelle; her companion and best friend, Jim Ledosquet; her grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, and Andrea and her six great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.
Joan will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
