John Clifford Barnett, 84, of Hemet, California, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, in Hemet, California. He was born on Tuesday, July 26, 1927 in Stewartsville, Missouri to the late James Barnett and the late Lucille Barnett. He was the loving husband of Debbie Barnett. John worked as a Truck Driver for over 55 years. John served his country in the Navy from September 09, 1944 through April 19, 1946. He also served in the Marine Corps from March 12, 1951 until his transfer to the Marine Corps Reserve. John was honorably discharged on August 13, 1958.
John is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; son, John C. Barnett Jr.; daughters, Brenda Kathleen Barnett and Amanda Kaylene Barnett; brother, Ricky Barnett; sisters, Barbara Williams and Becky Garcia; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carlo Barnett and Zonk Barnett and sisters, Betty Jo and Mary Lou. John will forever be missed and cherished.
