John Paul Fonseca of Houma, Louisiana, graduated from Terrebonne High Schoo,l in 1957, and entered the US Navy in 1959. John came to Perris, CA, in 1963, and in 1985, moved to Nuevo, CA, until his passing. After leaving the Navy, John worked as a volunteer Fire Fighter, Carpenter, Clerk at Breyers Liquor Store and Sage's Grocery Store and worked the majority of his career as a food broker in Hollywood, and Cerritos, CA.
He is survived by his sons John J. Fonseca of Nuevo and daughter in-law Marcella; James C. Fonseca of Loma Linda and daughter in-law Teresa; and grandchildren Brittany, Margeaux, Jacob, Mia and Katherine.
He is also survived by his siblings, Lovedee Laiche (Conner) of Mississippi, Betty Guillory (Floyd) and Alice Leleux of Louisiana; and James R. Fonseca (Sandra) of Nuevo, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Hazel DeRoche-Fonseca and John Jackson Fonseca; brother, Allen Fonseca (Faye); maternal grandparents James DeRoche & Marie Buquet-DeRoche; paternal grandparents; Ellis Fonseca & Eve Thibodaux-Fonseca.
