John "Jack" Milton Landers died on 9/4/11 at Hemet, CA., at the age 79, he is survived by his wife of 57 years Linn. John served in the U.S. Navy as a Teleman Second Class USN1 from 1950 - 1954. After serving int he Navy he & his wife settled in Glendale, then moved to Riverside where he worked for Riverside County Electronics Communications in the late 1950's. In 1963 he began his career with Motorola Company as a Electronic Field Systems Engineer, he retired after 30 years in 1993. During that time he & Linn moved to Hemet, where they attended Crosspoint Church. Jack served as a Deacon and Treasure for the Church & on the School Board of Crosspoint Academy. Jack enjoyed golfing, bowling, he and Linn joined the music group at Desi's Music where they enjoyed traveling with their many friends.
Graveside services will be on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:45 PM at Riverside National Cemetery Staging area #4.
