John Henry Ruiz

John Ruiz, age 84, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. John was born August 23, 1927 to John Henry Ruiz and Guadalupe (La Borde) Ruiz. He has five children Rosalie Resvaloso (Harvey); Helen M. Marruffo (Dan); John Jr.; Danny & Juanita Ruiz; one brother Richard & sister Juanita Valenzuela. Eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; & one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by by his loving wife of 55 years Cruz Ruiz; brothers Art, Joe & Albert; two sisters Ruby & Rosie.

John was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. John served our country proudly in the Army during WWII, he was a president with the San Jacinto Little League, John was a reserve cop for the San Jacinto Police Department and also worked in the city of Hemet for total of 20 years prior to retiring. He also worked for some time at the San Jacinto liquor store for 15 years. He loved his family above all and he also enjoyed the Angels & the Lakers. John loved to work in his yard and make it look beautiful.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory San Jacinto, 165 W. 7the Street, San Jacinto, CA where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2012. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Graveside service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 2, 2012.
