After serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Leyte Aircraft Carrier, he graduated from El Camino College with a degree in Police Science.
Jack rose to the level of Detective Sergeant in the LAPD and served for 27 distinguished years. He never took a sick day from work or school in his entire life.
Jack was known as a gentle and generous man, loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by sisters, Marjorie Wall and Barbara Breistig, brothers, Charles and Ralph, a son Stewart and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011, 1:00pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Hemet. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christmas Cottage Assisted Living.
