Our beloved son, brother and uncle, Jorge Castaneda, age 32, of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born on Tuesday, October 07, 1980 in Lynwood, California to his loving parents, Jose De Castaneda and Herminia Castaneda. Jorge was a happy and genuine person. He was full of love, always giving as much attention to others; especially to his nieces and nephews. In an effort to help others; Jorge joined the Salvation Army. As it is the mission of the Salvation Army to motivate by the love of the Lord; Jorge indeed loved the Lord. His signature gift of joy, shown through his beautiful smile and laughter will never be forgotten.
Those left to mourn his passing, but cherish his every loving memory are his parents, Jose and Herminia Castaneda; son, Adrian O. Castaneda; siblings, Abel Rico Castaneda, Martha S. Duarte, Juan Carlos Castaneda, Jose Castaneda, Jr., Elizabeth Castaneda, Gabriel Castaneda and Daisy Castaneda; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
