Mr. Gozzo who was born in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, lived in Hemet for 29 years. He served in WWII with the 11th Bombardment Group "H" as an Airplane & Engine mechanic. He worked as a construction worker. He was an award winning artist, enjoyed vintage airplanes, billiards, competing in the Senior Olympics in track & field, the disc throw and shot put.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn V. Gozzo; daughter Leslie Gardner; grandson Christopher Joseph Gardner; sister Antoinette Luckhardt.
