Joseph Robert Ikola, 86, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, in Hemet, CA. Born Wednesday, December 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Wayne Ikola and the late Elizabeth Brunner Ikola.
Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy from 1942 until 1948. He enjoyed travel and play golf. He also loved fishing and enjoyed his Sudoku games every morning, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joseph will be truly missed by all who had the honor to have known and loved him.
He is survived by his children; Wayne (Rachel) Ikola. Robert (Kathryn) Ikola, Kathleen (Timothy) Kenna; sisters, Carolyn (Lou) Palumbo, Marie Donor, Bertha Popp; grandchildren, Daniel, Todd, Sean, Glenn.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary.
