Joseph Ivory, 91 of Hemet, California died on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Meadowbrook Assisted Living in Hemet, California. He was born Sunday, April 10, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah and worked in the construction business for 65 years. Joseph is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irene Ivory; sons, Jimmy (Cindie) Ivory of Perris, CA and David (Mellie) Ivory of La Verne, CA; brothers Robert Ivory of Yucca Valley CA, and Edward (Eddie) Ivory of Grants Pass OR, 6 grand children; 20 great grand children, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was a member of the Community of Christ Church of San Jacinto. He also was an Evangelist for 74 years. Joseph was a caring man and he brought out the best of people and Irene considered him the best husband in the world. The family did do some traveling, one time to a dude ranch in Augusta KS where they worked the horses, and rustled up (chased) cattle. A Memorial service will be held at the Community of Christ Church of San Jacinto on a time and day to be determined in the future.
