Joseph is survived by his son, Steven (Christy) Raway, daughter Julie (Tim) Cary, and grandchildren Jason, Kristen and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Pauline Raway.
Joseph was devoted to his nation. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant, and then continued serving our great nation as a Civil Servant. His dedication to his country will be honored and remembered by a grateful nation.
Joseph was also a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. Among his many passions in life, Joseph's favorite pastime was spending time with his Grandchildren. Nothing would give him greater pleasure and pride than watching his Granddaughter, Kristen, play softball, and his Grandsons Jason and Jacob participate in any number of activities. He was a devoted family man.
Among other things, Joseph had a love - hate relationship with the Dodgers, he loved crossword puzzles, and was known to play a hand or two of video poker.
Joseph was dearly loved by his family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
