Judith Mary Janousek

Judith Mary Janousek passed away on September 20, 2014. She will be deeply missed by so many that loved her and treasured her. Judi, the daughter of the late Lt. Col. Neal and Leona Janousek, was born in Minnesota. She grew up the second of seven children. She is survived by her sister Mary Anne and her husband Carl, her brother Joe and his wife Pennie, her sister Jane and husband Henry, and her sister Laura and husband Peter. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve and Neal. She has many nieces and nephews that have so many happy memories of their Aunt Judi.

As part of an Army family, Judi lived in many places growing up, including Texas, Alaska, Colorado and Virginia. She spent most of her adult life in California. She had many wonderful tales about her adventures growing up. Judi's stories could always bring a smile to those listening. Wherever she happened to be at the time, she always included her animals. She loved, rescued and devoted her life to making sure all of her animals felt they were important. She loved all of God's creatures and they loved her too.

At the time of her passing Judi lived in Oceanside. She worked at Flotron in Vista, Ca. where she had so many friends that cared for her and she for them.

Judi was a blessing to those who knew her. Her smile, laugh and caring nature were gifts for all of us to remember her by. We will miss her dearly and are thankful that we had her in our lives.
