Judith Ann Haider, 75 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was born Friday, April 9, 1943 in New Jersey and although she moved to San Diego at an early age, she always held a close connection to her birth state. Even in her final days she was still in touch with close childhood friends.
Soft spoken and mild mannered, she was a strong and determined woman inside. Coming out of her first marriage, she had to figure out not only how to survive on her own, but how to raise two teenage daughters. Both of which she succeeded at tremendously and will always be admired for.
Judith’s full and adventurous life, took her camping, RVing, dancing, bowling (holding first place in their current bowling league BTW), traveling all around the world, and living in some amazingly fun, beautiful, and spiritual places like San Diego, Park City, and Moab.
Her artistic talents are enjoyed all around her home with oil paintings, drawings, dollhouses, and of course, cat rocks. This also gave her a bit of an edge in Pictionary which would have us all rolling in laughter at how easily she and her daughter were able to guess each other’s seemingly incomplete drawings.
Judith went on to become the loving wife of Stephen Haider. They were blessed with 23 wonderful and caring years. Many a late night game of Yahtzee has been played in their Hemet home that Judith cherished and decorated, kept organized, and rearranged at every whim.
Her final years were a bit more of a struggle as she fought (and initially beat) breast cancer only to have it suddenly reappear and take her from us quickly. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Judith was a thoughtful person, wonderful wife, and caring mother and will be missed beyond measure.
Judith is survived by her husband, Stephen Haider and her daughters, Leslie Aimone and Michele Aimone. An intimate service will be held at 1:00 PM on April 03, 2019 at Joshua Tree Memorial Park as we lay her to rest in a natural desert setting that perfectly represents the peaceful environment she so loved.
